Review of Vampire High

The book, Vampire High was a really cool book to read. It is about a boy named Cody who is failing every class including homeroom. His parents want to move him to a different school to chang his reputation. His parents get him into Vlad Dracul Magnet School. If he goes to that school, he will have to play on the water polo team. After about 2 weeks, Cody figures out that this school is filled with vampires. He also find out that the vampires can't go in water so that's why all the non-vampires have to play water polo for the school. Cody maked a couple friends in school including a lovely vampire princess. Cody also makes a couple of enemies that he is always having problems with during school. Then he starts to research facts about vampires. I recommend for you to read the book, Vampire High if you are in the mood for an adventure story.

Review of Part-Time Indian

The book, Part-Time Indian was a really good book to me. It was really really funny throughout the whole entire book. This book is about a boy named Arnold who was born with cerebrospinal fluid in his skull. Therefore he had to undergo surgey that made him have some physical problems, such as Arnold having 42 teeth, being very skinny, having poor eyesight, having frequent seizures, and having a lisp. He gets bullied a lot in school and a lot of kids call him a retard. Arnold starts off the story with a really great friend named Rowdy. Until Arnold changes schools and him and Rowdy become worst enemies. Arnold finds a girlfriend at his new school. Life goes well for Arnold during his days at his new school. Arnold plays for his schools basketball team and he has to go play a game against his old school. After that game, there is a lot of conflict that builds up in the story.

Review of Tangerine

The book, Tangerine was a pretty good book because it was a about a boy who plays soccer. I only like books that have to do with sports or they have a lot of action. Tangerine is about a boy named Paul Fisher who moves fom Houston to Tangerine. He has an older brother who is an all-star high school football player. Paul goes to Tangerine Middle School and wants to play on the soccer team there. It takes him a while to get on, but he eventually does. When he gets on the soccer team, he is assigned the second string goalkeeper position. While Paul Fisher was on the soccer team he meets a couple new people, such as Theresa Cruz and her two twin brothers, Tino and Victor. Eventually, Paul's decision to go to tangerine middle school finally pays off. He helps out the war eagles soccer team while they get a string of wins.

Review of The Lord of the Rings

The book, The Lord of the Rings was a really really cool book to read. It had a lot of action contained in it. I like books with action in them. Stories that don't have any action in them, I can't even stand to read. This is a book I recommend for you to read if you are in the mood for an action book. If you don't like action books than I don't recommend this book for you to read. It is about these two people named Merry and Pippin, who get taken captive by the Orcs to the Orcs headquarters. It becomes a long and hard road for Merry and Pippin throughout the book. They go through a lot, but somehow they find a way to make it through it. There life gets better and better after they break away from the Orcs headquarters. Each day they think to themselves that it was worth it to get away from the Orcs.

Review of The Silent Boy

The book, The Silent Boy, was an ok book for me to read. It didn't have any action in it, so I didn't really like it that much. It is about a girl who meets a boy who can not talk, but he can communicate with animals. At first the girl thinks that he is weird and doesn't like him. Then, she sees that he is nice and very shy so she tries to communicate with him. After they've known each other for a little bit, the boy tells her a really deep secret that he has. He tells her how he lost his talking ability and why. Then she feels really bad for him so she becomes one of his best friends. I wasn't really a big fan of this book, but I liked it a little bit. If you like books with a lot of drama than I recommend for you to read the book, The Silent Boy.

Review of The Outsiders

The book, The Outsiders, was a really cool and interesting book for me to read. It has a lot of action and and a lot of drama in it. It is about a gang named, the greasers. The greasers do not get along very well with another gang named, the socs. There is a lot of conflict between the greasers and the socs throughout the story. They get in a couple gang fights during the book. I really liked this book because there is a lot of action in it. There is also a couple parts in the story, where it is really sad because a couple people die. Other than that it is a really good book. It is one of the best books I have ever read in my entire life. If you like to read action books, than I recommend for you to read the book, The Outsiders. It will be a book that you will never forget.

Poem

The Miami Heat have the best team
they're stadium is so very clean
They score whenever they can
it looks like they have a plan
Lebron James loves to dunk
everybody says he's a lot of junk
Dwayne Wade is extremely quick
he never looks like he's sick
Chris Bosh is very tall
he has good hands for the ball
Mario Chalmers has very quick feet
when it comes to running, he never gets beat
Joel Anthony gets many blocks a game
with those stats, he shouldn't have any shame
James Jones is the best 3-point shooter I've ever saw
he is too good, I think it's against the law

Review of, I Survived

The book, I Survived, was a reall really good book. It contains a lot of action in it. It is about a boy named Danny who just moves to Hawaii. One day while he was at the beach, he was able to see the bombing of Pearl Harbor. I'm sure that wasn't a pleasure experience for Danny. I am very sure that Danny will never forget this day ever in his life. It took Danny a couple days to recover intil he went back to school. The next week Danny heard that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor again. Once he heard that, him and his friend skipped school to go to Pearl Harbor to see if the Japanese would come so he can stop them. This was a really entertaining book for me to read. I am a real fan of action and adventure books. If you are looking to read an action book than I would recommend for you to read the book,I Survived.

Compare/Contrast of Night and, The Boy in Striped Pajamas

Night and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas are both very similiar and very different from each other. They are similiar because they are both about, The Holocaust. They are also similiar because both of them are really really depressing. One difference that they have is that the book,Night, is told from a Jewish point of view and,The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, is told from a Germans point of view. It is cool to have a brief understanding to what happened in the holocaust from a Jewish point of view and a Germans point of view. As you can see, there are some similarities and some differences between the book,Night, and,The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I would recommend to read these two books because it is cool to see the story from two totally different point of views. These will be two books that you will never forget in your lifetime.

Review of Night

The book,Night, as a really really sad book to read. It is one of the most depressing books I have ever read in my whole entire life. It is about a boy named Elie Weisel and his father, who get taken to a Jewish concentration camp by the Germans. It was a tough road for Elie and his father. They did not get treated very well at the Jewish concentration camp. They got seperateed for from the girls in their family. All the girls and boys get seperated from each other. If you are in the mood for a sad genre then I recommend for you to read the book,Night. It is a good book to read, but it is not a very good topic to think about, especially if you are Jewish. It is devastating to hear that people are getting killed because of their religion and what they believe in.
